  Backpackers Townhouse was an amazing time to stay at. The rooms were clean and has WiFi and a relaxing common area. The staff were incredibly welcoming and full of local knowledge, always ready to help or share a great tip. About a 10 min walk to main city location which is perfect. I highly recommend staying here I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in all aspects staying here in Tonga

  I stayed at the backpackers townhoudr (now Api Ko Kapeta) for 10 days and I had the best time! My room was really spacious, bed comfy and clean bedsheets. Only a short walk to town. The communal area is well decorated in Tongan made wood carvings and really clean thanks to the amazing staff. Joana was so welcoming and the other guests were very social (I was the only solo traveller but everyone took me under their wing despite holidaying with friends and family) I'd love to visit again in the future

  Great location in town. Accommodation options in Tonga is quite limited and this is the best budget accommodation in town after I have checked others myself. I have to walk in to get the room. Didn't get response from their fb page.

  Probably the best budget option in Town. The rooms are nice and the living room is beautiful and comfortable, great place to relax. Due to Covid it is not really a hostel anymore as they struggle to find staff and might not be able to accommodate a lot of people. It is a bit noisy sometimes in the mornings as they produce coconut oil there and start working early. But usually it's quiet most of the day

  This has been our favourite accomodation on Tongatapu so far- great value, lovely family, comfortable bed and clean facilities. Location- shops within walking distance and busy area that is a little loud at night if you're a light sleeper. Thank you- we would've liked to have stayed longer:)
