  Ok, but average and nothing special. Ok for an overnight transit stop but wouldn't want to stay here longer. The 'waterfront' is a very industrial harbour and the garden view rooms don't really look onto a garden, more like two water tanks, laundry drying area and hard-standing for vehicles.

  Excellent service! The staff are very friendly and accommdating. Waterfront Lodge is a at a great location if you're on Tongapatu for whale swimming. However if you've booked a seaview room, there is a club on the same side which will be blaring music til late on most nights so have headphones prepared.
